Amazon Introduces First Amazon Fresh Store in Los Angeles

Looks like Amazon is entering the grocery store business. Now, I know you're wondering "don't they own Whole Foods?" The answer is yes, but this new Fresh store concept will be more in line with the more affordable range of brands, instead of the higher-end offerings of Whole Foods.

The new Amazon Fresh store will be more in direct competition with the likes of Kroger and Albertsons. It will be a mix of traditional shopping and the tech-y Amazon stuff like being able to check out using our smart shopping cart and finding items in the store using Alexa.

The first Amazon Fresh store will open in the Woodland Hills section of Los Angeles, to select Woodland Hills residents this week, then will open to the public in the coming weeks after.
