It looks like there's trouble in paradise for Victoria's Secret.
The brand and its parent company, L Brands, plans to close 53 stores due to poor sales at its retail stores and the younger, teen, PINK brand.
Sales at the stores fell 7% in the last quarter, but sister brand Bath & Body works did well in the last holiday shopping season.
According to an analyst at GlobalData Retail: "The company has lost 3.8 million customers over the two past years to rivals like Amazon and American Eagle’s Aerie."
It looks like it's time for Victoria's Secret to look at all options and re-evaluate the brand and who the target consumer is, maybe even change its retail model? But what do I know...
