Pennsylvania may in fact be the deciding factor in this election, which is why Philadelphia did It's absolute best to encourage voters to come out and make history. And needless to say, the City of Brotherly Love knows how It's done because the streets were filled with music, dancing, instruments, costumes & even celebrities to help encourage people to vote!
According to Philadelphia Inquirer Rapper and actor, Common, was spotted in West Philly -- going up to voters in lines and encouraging them with poetic lyrics about the importance of change that our community needs to see, and how voting can help us do so.
Music from groups like "Joy To The Polls" were out at about along with string quartets, mummers & more were out and about making yesterday's stressful process as enjoyable as possible. Philly does Voting right!
