Paris Hilton already knows what kind of mom she will be when her children get old enough to have a phone.

The mother-of-two recently appeared at The Wall Street Journal's The Future of Everything Festival where she opened up about how she will be a "strict" parent when it comes to social media and her kids with husband Carter Reum — son Phoenix, 1, and daughter London, 6 months — having smart phones when they get older, per Entertainment Tonight.

"I hope that they are nerds like their dad and don't want anything to do with that," she said. The Simple Life star, who has a large social media following that includes over 26 million followers on Instagram, added with a laugh that she "never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to be a strict mom."

She continued, "I'm going to try to not have them have a phone for a while. Some of these kids are just getting phones at way too young of an age, and there are just so many things online that I wouldn't even want my children to be exposed to."

Hilton revealed in January 2023 that she and Reum had welcomed their son via surrogate, keeping their firstborn's arrival a secret from everyone, including her own mother as Hilton later shared that she wouldn't be able to keep it a secret. The couple went on to welcome their daughter via surrogate as well in November 2023.
