How To Track That Third Stimulus Check

It's the talk of the town.

When will I get my next stimulus check? Will I get my $1400 stimmy soon?

Good news is, you can track the status of your third stimulus check from the $1.9 Trillion COVID Relief Bill that was signed into law late last week by President Biden.

Once you get to the Get My Payment Tool on the IRS website, you will need to enter your date of birth, Social Security number, street address, and ZIP code. You'll then get info that your payment has been sent out, the anticipated arrival date, and if it's through a direct deposit, check, or debit card.

You may also get one of these statuses:

Payment Status Not Available: Either your payment didn't process yet or you may not be eligible for the payment due to income limits, so you may want to check eligibility based on the law signed.

Need More Information: The Post Office was unable to deliver your relief payment. According to USA Today, the IRS says the easiest way to update is to “file your 2020 tax return with your current address, if you haven’t already done so. Once we receive your current address, we will reissue your payment.”

Please try again later: This will come up after three failed attempts to log in within 24 hours, which will also lock your account for the day. Double-check your information and try again the next day.
