We love all our nurses and healthcare heroes, but we want to especially shout out Samantha O’Brien. Samantha works as a nurse at AtlantiCare medical center helping COVID patients. One of her patients, Joey, had down syndrome, so on top of being sick he was also really scared since he was away from his family. Samantha found out that he loved drawings, so she would draw pictures on his window to brighten his day.
Luckily Joey has recovered and his family said she and the other nurses made him feel loved. 6ABC did a whole report on Samantha and we have the video below
