Alysa Bainbridge Recrowned: Makes History As Longest Reigning 'Miss Philly'

So unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19; The Miss America Organization & the Miss Philadelphia Pageant have decided to postpone until 2021... thus making Alysa Bainbridge (the current crown holder) the longest running Miss Philadelphia in history with her ongoing 2 year reign!

Although I am bummed that this year's pageant isn't happening -- considering I was so excited to sit on the judges panel this year -- I am excited to see what Alysa is going to do with her extra year as Miss Philly & how she plans to continue using her platform to impact the community. And thankfully so! Considering she wasn't ready to give up the crown just yet because she says, "there's still so much I wanted to do!"

Her focus couldn't be more relevant right now, especially in isolation, as she targets Mental Health and Opioid Crisis Awareness after losing her brother to a drug use 2 years ago.

Thankfully, we were able to get Alysa onto my podcast called Serving SiRACHa to chat about all the big plans she has for Philadelphia and how she plans to take advantage of the extra year that she's excited to conquer!
