Well, add this to the growing list of sad news for the time being.
The Friends reunion special that was supposed to begin filming and production this month, specifically March 23rd and 24th, but due to the extraordinary circumstances we are in right now with the Coronavirus pandemic, the production is postponed to a later day.
The one-off special was to film at the iconic, original home of the series, Stage 24 of the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank. The special was to be one of the first shows exclusively for HBO Max when the streaming platform launches in May. And yes, that also means the entire Friends library back on streaming through the new platform.
The entire cast is coming back for the special, with each earning $2.5 million to $3 million. We'll just have to wait a little longer.
