South Jersey Company Buys $10k in Groceries for Families in Need

I love that there is kindness happening during the COVID-19 outbreak. A South Jersey family company, American Construction, in Cherry Hill is buying over $10,000 worth of groceries and giving it to families and elderly people in need in our area.

Chris Bruner owns the company. He told 6ABC he's hoping this could be a "silver lining" during the outbreak.

Bruner says that construction has slowed down at the moment and this is a way for him to continue to pay workers for working. The company is paying for the groceries and they're using their trucks to drop the groceries off.

As of yesterday, the company says they've helped 200 families.
