You know Lucy the Elephant, the 65-foot elephant roadside on the Jersey Shore near Atlantic City? She’s been around for 139 years, many of those years in Margate, New Jersey.
Well thanks to AirBnB, you can now spend the night inside the 6-floor elephant!
Lucy’s owners and AirBnB decorated the interior to what she may have looked like around 1902 -- the last time someone lived inside of her. Fun fact, President Woodrow Wilson was hosted in Lucy once.
They’re only hosting overnight guests for a few days in May (May 17-19) and only for one night. Only two people can stay per night. You can request the booking over at airbnb.com/lucy.
