There was a lot of criticism about the live-action version of the Disney classic. Little Mermaid Live was on ABC Tuesday Night and people were either confused or complaining about the raggedy production, on the 30th anniversary of the movie's original release.
I actually enjoyed it. If you've ever been to a musical, it's supposed to be a little raggedy because it is LIVE! When people were bashing on Shaggy not dressed as an actual crab playing Sebastian, I was like "really?" its not an elementary school play. Also, Shaggy would never rock the costume because, Shaggy! LOL!
Queen Latifah is always killing it too, as she was the villainous Ursula!
