It may not look like it, but Eva Mendes doesn't always require a high-end glam squad. Sometimes she opts for a bargain salon like Supercuts.
On Monday (October 14), the Hollywood vet, 45, took to Instagram to share a photo of her in the salon seat, but the caption to the shot was the real highlight. "Ok this is a terrible angle but thought you guys would like to know that yea, I stop into @supercuts every once in awhile," she wrote of the photo, adding, "And what?" in Spanish. When one user applauded the salon for "a trim and quick layer, Mendes agreed, adding, "Totally! And great for a quick wash and dry!"
As noted by Us Weekly, Mendes has never been one to indulge in pricey beauty offerings. Speaking with Byrdie in 2016, the Miami native shared the importance of budget-friendly shopping similar to her drugstore line, Circa Beauty. "I grew up not only shopping at drugstores for pretty much everything — skincare, cosmetics, household products," she told the publication. "When I was growing up, it certainly wasn’t cool to have things at a discounted price or to have something at mass level. There was no H&M — it wasn’t cool yet — so the fact that it is now and that people really understand that you don’t have to pay a lot for things that are quality — I think that’s really exciting."
