This is probably the best non-political parody Saturday Night Live has done in a long time.
The Joker movie opened to critical acclaim and success last weekend. It's the talk of the town in regards to the dark motif and dangerous undertones it projects throughout the movie, even to the point of movie theaters adding extra security during opening weekend to prevent crime "copycats".
Well, Saturday Night Live took notice and created a Sesame Street parody of the trailer starring 'Stranger Things' David Harbour as the "Grouch" which mirror the Joker storyline to mimic the dark origin story.
I completely lost it, laughing my butt off when they showed real life Bert & Ernie. You have to watch the spoof trailer below:
