This is heartbreaking — Haley Smith, who was a contestant on American Idol’s 11th season, has died from a motorcycle crash. The young singer was only 26 years old. Authorities are saying it was a “one-vehicle accident”, but with no further details.
The accident happened last week in Maine — an investigation into accident is still pending. When she was on the show, she was 18 in 2012, impressing then judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson with “Tell Me Something Good” by Chaka Khan and Rufus.
