Netflix is cleaning house once again — cancelling two more shows on Wednesday! They announced that former ABC drama “Designated Survivor”, which went to Netflix for Season 3, is now once again cancelled.
In a statement, they said, “We are proud to have offered fans a third season of Designated Survivor, and will continue to carry all three seasons for years to come. We’re especially thankful to star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland, who brought passion, dedication, and an unforgettable performance as President Kirkman.”
Meanwhile, they’ve also cancelled animated comedy “Tuca & Bertie” after only ONE season! The show was created by a “BoJack Horseman” designer, and was even critically acclaimed, but apparently did not connect with audiences.
No word on viewership as Netflix doesn’t release them, but we can only assume that both just didn’t hit the mark that the streaming service wanted. Will you miss them?
