So, when everyone watched the Fyre Festival documentaries on Netflix and Hulu, one of the biggest takeaways was not just that the festival was a mess — but that one interviewee in particular became a viral sensation.
Yep, Andy King — the guy who had a million memes made of him for saying he would *do* things to get the festival done — is not done with the spotlight yet. He’s getting his own show(s)!
Deadline reports that a production company that works with shows like Queer Eye and Hell’s Kitchen is currently shopping a TV series to a bunch of networks and platforms about King! The show sees King, who has decades of event planning under his belt, as a Tim Gunn-style personality of the event product world and “is looking to capture King’s frankness and experience across genres from original talk shows, unscripted series, and podcasts.”
It doesn’t appear anything is set in stone yet, but it looks like they’re trying to take any advantage to do something with him, so we’ll just patiently wait to see how it turns out!
