Domino's is testing an almost fully autonomous pizza delivery method using self-driving vehicles. They want to use the self-driving Nuro R2 vehicle to deliver your pizzas to "ease congestion" during busy hours. The vehicle will have a keypad for the customer to unlock a door on the vehicle with their order inside. Seems legit, right?
It will begin in Houston, Texas later this year at select locations. This is great! More focus on the food, less on interacting with humans. Just what I needed (jokes).
