We just received word from the Q102 News Room that Joe Jackson, father of Michael, Janet and their man brothers and sisters has died at the age of 89. Initial word from TMZ is he passed at 3:30am (Pacific Time) so around 12:30am Eastern.
I guess I missed the report but back in June he was hospitalized with terminal cancer. He certainly lead an interesting and successful life although there were always questions about his parenting tactics and the way he raised his kids. Michael of course being the center of that attention coming into fame so young an being pushed by Joe. Not my place to comment, instead we'll say "Hope you find peace... God Bless"
