According to Philly.com, Tatel’s high-profile investors include tennis player Rafael Nadal, singer Enrique Iglesias, Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, and San Antonio Spurs player Pau Gasol. Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos Guallar are the founders and owners of the spot, which presents elegant Spanish cuisine with a 1920s vibe.
Tatel, the Madrid-based Spanish restaurant owned by a group of high-profile Spanish celebrities, is set to open in the former Boyd Theater next year.
