Protesters Gather Outside Racist Man's House In South Jersey [VIDEO]

This literally makes me sick to my stomach to know this form of hatred is going on just outside of my hometown.

Apparently, a man by the name of Edward Cagney Mathews is accused of harassing minority groups in his neighborhood for YEARS, with nothing to be done about It by law enforcement according to his victims.

According to 6abc:

The man at the center of a community protest in Mount Laurel, New Jersey - sparked by his racist rant toward a neighbor - was taken into custody on Monday evening. Mathews will remain behind bars on assault charges until he is arraigned, which is expected sometime in the next few days...Mathews is also charged with bias intimidation stemming from a now-viral video that shows him nonchalantly hurling the n-word multiple times at his neighbors.

In the videos below, you'll see a heated interaction with Mathews and a neighbor, which later leads to a confrontation with the victims sister -- where Mathews confesses to being a drug dealer for the Mt. Laurel Township.

All caught on camera, he claims that this is why he knows so many police officers, and his "good rapport" with them will be why he won't get in trouble for any of his blatant racism and harassment allegations.

The community didn't take well to the videos that are now VIRAL on social media, which led to a protest outside of his house to demand that police take action on this man, which you'll also see below as Mathew's later becomes detained.

Laurel police department, thus explaining why he'll never get in trouble with the police because he's friendly with too many of them.
