GREAT NEWS! Spring is approaching and with the warmer weather means more outdoor activities! And with the loosening coronavirus restrictions in Philly, the town of Old City is offering “free” parking for the next few months!
From March 20 to May 29, Visit Philly is working along side the town in the hopes that the free parking will encourage tourism back into the city following the pandemic.
However, there’s a catch... the parking is free, but only if you spend at least $8 on any of the 19 attractions from the Independence Visitor Center.
But given the notorious PPA parking fees, $8 doesn’t sound too bad! And once you support the local businesses & tourism with the purchase, drivers will be allowed to park at the Auto Park at Independence Mall.
