Philly sports are making a come back babyyy!!
The Philadelphia Union, our major league soccer team, is carrying the weight of sports here in Philly as they are not only heading to the playoffs -- but also took home the FIRST EVER "Supporters' Shield" award in MLS history.
The Supporters' Shield is given to the team with the best regular season record. So naturally, the shield was awarded to them after a 2-0 win yesterday over the New England Revolutions.
