New IG Series Helps Philly Students Get Acclimated To City Amidst Pandemic

I know the parties are limited here during quarantine... but Campus Philly is still throwing down! They have been the host's of what's known as “collegefest” for the last 15 years which gets students excited about moving to the Philly area and exposing them to what the city has to offer. Normally, the educational party would be live, but they've switched things up digitally to help with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last week, Campus Philly launched a "My Philly Summer" series that focuses on providing specific career tips and networking opportunities for for incoming students & to help those whose career paths may have changed amidst the pandemic. There's also local performers and giveaways!

The ongoing series that they're doing is called "Campus Philly Conversations." These are weekly, virtual events where Campus Philly interviews a different young professional in the Philly region to help college students gain valuable career advice and job tips in a time when they need it most.

The events occur every Wednesday at 3 p.m., and we JUST announced our season 2 lineup! Next week's event will focus on "Five Things Every Recruiter Wishes Applicants Knew," and we'll be interviewing Celina McCabe, Campus Recruiting and Onboarding Manager from Dorman Products.
