Conshohocken Bike Crew Raises Over $11K For The Bail Project Supporting BLM

With a different, yet still incredibly peaceful & uplifting way of protesting on behalf of the Black Lives Matter movement, a group of bikers from Conshohocken were able to raise $11,600 for the Bail Project to bail out those who were wrongfully convicted during BLM protests over the weekend.

In just a few days, an idea turned into a reality with over 200 bikers who decided to get involved in a different form of protesting! That of which that began with a word of prayer followed by a unified bike ride from Conshohocken PA, to the Philadelphia Art Museum for a 8 minute and 46 kneel and moment of silence for George Floyd -- along with some testimonials -- ending with a ride back to the starting grounds for a parking lot party full of refreshments, music & fun! This peaceful protest was therefore named The "Blackout x Rideout" where all attendees wore all black in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement.

In total, according to @conshybikecrew, the 26 mile bike ride was intended to:

...unite one another, through solidarity in togetherness and to educate others of how African Americans and POC live their daily lives in America. One pedal at a time turns into a mile. When we ride together, only then will we thrive together!

And if you REALLY want to see how the community was able to embody the message, and band together... check this out.
