According to our friends at 6abc, there is a possibility of the coronavirus making its way to Philly with one person undergoing testing for the COVID-19 virus.
There's still a lot of investigating and testing to be done to confirm the case, but health officials will be releasing more information as It comes.
The Philadelphia Health Commissioner, Dr. Tom Farley, says
"The coronavirus so far is not in Philadelphia...It's likely coming here because it spread around the world."
As of now there are nine confirmed deaths in the US, most of which are reported out of Washington State.
