As I was catching up on everyone's escapades over the new year, I came across my friend's snap-story of the South Philly String Band's after party following the Mummers Parade on New Year's Day here in Philly.
It was a super emotional video capturing the group honoring their late members a year after tragedy struck -- 3 members of the South Philly String Band died in a car accident in the early hours of the morning following the Parade last year.
And to their honor, the South Philly String Band took home first place in the Mummers Parade of 2020!
