Philly Names A Part of Broad Street After Native Singing Icon [PHOTO]

Ms. Patti LaBelle, a native of Philadelphia but most popularly known for being a music industry LEGEND, has had a street named after her in Philly as a part of the city's 4th of July festivities!

According to Philly Voice, Ms. LaBelle is slated to speak at the Wawa Welcome America Festivities on July 4th, where she'll represent her home in Southwest Philly.

Patti took to Twitter to thank the city of Philadelphia for naming the 200th block near Broad and Spruce "Patti LaBelle Way"
