YUP, we are crying. And we're not even gonna try to deny it.
Our beloved Philadelphia Flyers Mascot, famously known as Gritty, has sunk our hearts yet again by delivering a surprise of a life time to a little boy from Abington named Caiden O’Rourke.
According to Fox 29, Caiden has been in need of a new prosthetic leg as he grows older with a rare orthopaedic condition that caused him to lose his leg at birth. So as a request to the folks at Shriners Hospital -- he wanted the next one to be Gritty themed.
But the doctors and nurses there wanted to take it a step further by having Gritty deliver the prosthetic to Caiden HIMSELF!
Watch and try not to cry.
