The future is FEMALE!
For the first time in Philadelphia Sixers h̶i̶s̶t̶o̶r̶y̶ HERSTORY -- Lindsey Harding has been hired as the first female coach, 7th female coach in NBA history.
According to Philly Inquirer , Harding was promoted on Monday night from pro-scout, to player development coach!
Not only was Harding was the No. 1 overall pick out of Duke in the 2007 WNBA draft, she also played 9 seasons in the WNBA, and 7 different European teams as well. She's KIND OF a BADD@$$!
But working for the Sixers this season, she's the one who scouted potential trade targets such as Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, and Boban Marjanovic.
Welcome aboard coach! You make us fellow Philadelphia ladies & Sixers fans proud!
