Okay...there ain't nothing sweet about Ariana Grande throwing a sly comment Travis Scott's way when talking about her new album "Sweetener" and where it falls on the charts!
According to E!, the pop star made a playful comment to her manager Scooter Braun while on stage in front of an audience during an album release session on Wednesday in Chicago.
Scooter suggested that with 3 days left, Ariana's AMAZING (in my opinion) new album has a 100% chance of coming in No.1 -- keep in mind, this all comes just 3 days after the VMAs where her bff Nicki Minaj scared off Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott via Twitter after BLASTING their 'baby-making marketing tactics' that scored Travis the #1 spot on the album sales charts.
In which case, this seemingly harmless "We don't know what Travis can do" came off as a jab...

Think what you want-- but Ari took to Twitter in a series of tweets to defend her comment saying that it was all a joke and that's just the kind of comedic person she is!
And not for nothing, JOKES ON ARI because her new hit album Sweetener just hit #1 on the Billboard charts!!! GO GIRL! --- but we can't help but wonder if Nicki Minaj has something to say about it....
