What a DAY!
It was iHeart Radio day at Citizen's Bank Park for the Phillies vs. LA Dodgers game-- so the Q102 team went to celebrate!
On top of that, we spent the day honoring the one and only Chase Utley, who announced his retirement from the MLB earlier this month. In which case, Chase was reunited with Citizen's Bank Park for the last time during the LA Dodgers vs. Phillies series this week. He endured his last game on the field yesterday and honored his World Series legacy by waving goodbye to his die-hard fans in Philly for the last time.
Let me tell ya, it was SUPER emotional! He even posted on his instagram page a video that is pretty much impossible not to cry too if you grew up watching the legend play 2nd base for the Phillies like me.
I cried, you cried, we all cried...We love you Chase! Keep that silver fox STRONG!
