Dua Lipa has had the greatest year. Not only did she release her self-titled debut album and collaborate with mega artists like Calvin Harris and Diplo, she was also nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist, AND she finished up 2018 by performing during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One.
Dressed in a multi-colored sequin mini dress, Lipa's set included songs like "One Kiss," "Electricity," "IDGAF," and "New Rules." And the pop star's performance was filled with plenty of choreography, making it one giant Madison Square Garden sized dance party.
First of all, is this the new "Lean Back"?
She can spin AND skip at the same time!
WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!
The Reverse Body Roll:
THIS hip bounce, though. She has no time for your rules ... she's got her own.
Before even taking the stage, Lipa chatted backstage with iHeartRadio's Elvis Duran where she opened up about her Best New Artist Grammy nomination (and revealed that the first person she called was her mom). "I didn't think I would cry as much as I cried, but I was so overwhelmed," Dua explained to Duran. "I didn't even know what to do with myself, like, I was so proud and so humbled and so grateful. I don't even know how to explain. My day was just so surreal. I'm still processing it. It's so crazy to me."
Relive all of the amazing 2018 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performances and more during an exclusive nationwide television special on The CW on December 16th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
