Sam Smith let it all out at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One at The Forum in Los Angeles on Friday, December 1.
The singer, who was introduced by Ryan Seacrest at the KIISFM hosted event, performed in concert for the first time hit new singles āToo Good at Goodbyesā and āPray.ā The tracks are off Samās recently dropped second studio album The Thrill of It All.
"This is my first time singing in America since I've released [my new album Thrill of It All] ... this next song is one of my favorites from the album," Sam shared before performing a moving rendition of "Pray."
The Grammy winner previously shared that he wrote the first single, āToo Good at Goodbyes,ā while getting over a breakup.
"I put an armor up after that happened because it was the first time I had been in that situation," he told Billboard. "I felt a little bit more prepared for the heartbreak and that period when something awful happens."
Sam also performed āIām Not the Only One,ā āLike I Can,ā and āStay With Me.ā
