As Beyonce says, time to upgrade ya!
Philly.com wrote all the details, but basically here's the gist:
Gone will be some of the balcony luxury boxes, which are less popular than they were in the 1990s. Also, some of the black-colored seats below the mezzanine level will be zapped. But new premium seating will come in the form of court- and rink-side suites — a new arena trend.
New windows to see the skyline, more areas to hang with friends and family and charge your phone, more places to eat, which means less lines.
My favorite part of this whole article is this:
Biggest Wells Fargo crowds
- Hockey: 20,327 for the Flyers vs. Blackhawks game on June 9, 2010.
- Basketball: 21,305 for the 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls on April 17, 1998.
- Concert: 21,424 for Backstreet Boys ‘Into the Millennium’ Tour on Sept. 29, 1999.
- I was 100% at this concert, at the very top of the arena, barely saw anything, but then last weekend I flew to Vegas to meet them. Life is crazy.
