Long-Running TV Show Cancelled After 20 Seasons!

It’s been a long time coming, but ABC announced this week that “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” would officially end after 20 years on the air, and 17 years in syndication (did you even realize it was still on?)

The show has aired nearly 3,000 episodes, and it started airing in primetime in 1999 when at one point it was basically on every night of the week. It moved to syndication in 2002, and had a revolving door of hosts, including Meredith Vieira, Cedric the Entertainer, Terry Crews, and most recently, Chris Harrison.
