How To Donate & Help Victims of the Fairmount Fire

A community is morning the loss of 12 lives this week -- including 8 children. A fatal fire took place in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia. At least two others were injured in the fire -- 8 more people fled the building on their own to escape the flames.

Various fundraisers have been set up to help the survivors & families of the victims.

The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia teamed up with City Council President Darrell Clarke to set up a fund to assist the families impacted.

Children First PA started an online fundraiser. They had more than 600 donors, some from across the country.

A GoFundMe Page has been established to assist the parents/grandparents with final arrangements. The online fundraiser says leftover donations will go to resources for the two survivors.
