Uber has announced that it is partnering up with the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium to make it easier for people to get a vaccine in Philadelphia!

The Consortium announced on Thursday that their partnership with Uber would provide 10,000 free rides to COVID-19 vaccination appointments in the city.

How to get it? Very easy! Residents over 18 can use the code 10MVBDC to get $25 off a ride to or from the vaccination location. Each user will get up to two round trips so they have transportation secured for both of their COVID-19 shots.

The Consortium is also hosting a “Vax-Jawn” event, partnered with our sister stations 105.3 WDAS and Power 99, at the Dell Music Center on Saturday, April 24th from 9a-4pm. However, for that event, only residents of the hardest hit zip codes will be eligible for a shot. You can find the flyer for that event below!
