Mike Shinoda Produces Fans' Songs Live On Twitch: Watch

Mike Shinoda rang in the new year with a call for fans to submit songs that he could produce during his daily Twitch sessions.

"For 2021, I wanted to find a way to give back to my amazing community online. Iโ€™m looking for voclaists [sic], rappers, and songwriters who need help getting to the next level," the Linkin Park emcee wrote at the time. "If I find someone great, Iโ€™ll produce their track, live on my Twitch channel. Thereโ€™s no formal contest, just an intention."

"The fans on Twitch will help me find the right vocalists. my only 'rules' are 1.) Iโ€™m not doing vocals, 2.) Iโ€™d like the artist to only contribute vocals and one instrument, nothing filled-out, just the 'song,' and 3.) no back-seat producing, the track has to be in my hands until I feel like Iโ€™m done. If you want to participate, go talk to the fans on Twitch.tv/OfficialMikeShinoda"

Shinoda's "AnRmy" didn't disappoint, and he recently shared two sessions on his YouTube channel: Chris Kelly's "Bittersweet" and Alex McMillan's "BONES." You can watch both below.

As mentioned in the announcement, this isn't a contest, which means the producer is still looking for tracks to flesh out. Those who are interested can get their songs seen by using the hashtag #ShinodaProduceMe.
