Macy’s To Close Dozens Of Stores in 2021

Macy’s is looking to downsize further, sped up by slow sales and the pandemic. They began to three-year downsizing, cutting back stores by a fifth. The legendary retailer began to shutter stores in 2020 when the pandemic accelerated.

Luckily, only 2 stores in California will be affected.

  • El Cajon: Parkway Plaza
  • Richmond: Hilltop Mall

Macy’s has been operating since 1858 and its headquarters are in Ohio.
