Philly Garbage Man Is Raising Money on Instagram for PPE

There are so many heroes going above and beyond and that includes our sanitation workers.They’ve been working non-stop as the amount of trash has increased during the pandemic. 

The Philadelphia Inquirer brings us the story of Terrill Haigler works for Philly Streets Department and he’s started an Instagram account to give resident’s a behind-the-scenes view of what’s going on.

His account, @_YaFavTrashman has gone viral and now he’s selling shirts to raise money for personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies.

He's said the support residents have been showing to him and his fellow workers is great. People have been putting out water and even water ices during their long days.
