South Jersey Dad Starts Haircut Fundraiser

Since barbershops and hair salons are closed, a South Jersey coronavirus survivor is starting a haircut fundraiser. Dr. Jim Sanfilippo of Moorestown shaved his 9-year-old son, Jame's head. The Moorestown dad shaved his son’s head since he needed a haircut. The money he would have spent on the haircut is now going to the South Jersey Food Bank. He set up a GoFundMe page to encourage others and they’ve already raised $18-thousand in donations from 200 people.

What a great idea. If you can, make sure you tip your regular barber or hairdresser during this time too since they're not able to work. If you're a guy looking for a step-by-step help, the site You Probably Need a Haircut will match you with a barber via Zoom to help cut your hair!
