Disney Parks Donates Surplus Food From Resorts To Food Banks Amid Closures

With everything closing or already closed, many people are wondering what happens to those establishments and when they will reopen.

As you know, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World both have shut their gates and closed down for the next couple weeks to fight the spread of COVID-19, more commonly known as Coronavirus. The parks serve thousands of people a day, so it's a question on people's minds...what happens to all the unused food?

Good news is, Disney Parks will be donating the excess food to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County here in Southern California.

Another reason to love Disneyland and the Mouse! Way to go helping those in need during a crisis.
