In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Cinderella movie, Walt Disney World is about to give the castle a major makeover!
The last time Cinderella Castle got re-done for the park was the 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, where the castle was transformed into a massive birthday cake. (And I was there to see it!)
According to Disney, work is already beginning to refresh the iconic landmark in the park. Below is the artist rendering of the finished design, with deeper blue colors and more gold trim on the castle.
Walt Disney World is about to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2021.
