Romaine Lettuce From California Being Recalled Due To E. Coli Outbreak

This happened last year and it's happening again. The CDC, Centers for Disease Control, is telling people to once again not eat romaine lettuce, especially that grown in Salinas, California.

If you're not sure where your lettuce comes from and it's in your fridge, toss it. I wouldn't take any chances!

So far, 40 people in 16 states have gotten sick due to a strain of E.coli traced back to the lettuce, and 28 of those have been hospitalized.

E.coli can give you symptoms such as cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting.

The recall includes all forms of romaine lettuce, so that means chopped, pre-packaged, and the like.

I'm eating kale until further notice...
