Not so sure about this! Disney announced this week more news about its new Disney+ streaming service, and part of the news was that a bunch of classic movies will be remade for the service.
Those include ‘Night at the Museum’, ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’, and ‘Cheaper By The Dozen.’
But the 4th movie is causing quite a stir - HOME ALONE! Yes, they’ll be remaking Home Alone. Most of these movies come from Fox’s library, which Disney acquired back in March. It appears that these likely won’t be the last 4 either that will be remade.
But should they be though? Home Alone is iconic - is it really worth making a new reboot?
The new service debuts November 12th and will cost $6.99/month or $69.99/year.
