This was a super fun interview. Matt Spicer, from Hatboro, is the writer and director of the new dark comedy Ingrid Goes West starring Aubrey Plaza (who's from Wilmington, btw)! The movie also stars Elizabeth Olsen and O'Shea Jackson Jr (Ice Cube's son, who starred in Straight Outta Compton).
The movie is awesome b/c it's all about how dark and twisted the world of social media is, but also having someone from Philly write and direct it, makes it even cooler!
He was mad cool, and promised when he wins an Oscar he won't forget where he came from. ;)
