Alot of people where upset that we didn't find out how Jack died on the Season Finale of This is Us, but now we are learning a little more. From our friends at Cosmo:
We've speculated endlessly about how our beloved This Is Us character Jack ends up in that urn on Kate (Chrissy Metz)'s mantel, but now Milo Ventimiglia, the actor who portrays him, has revealed the best fan theory he's heard so far.
"Miguel killed him," he said during a panel discussion at the ATX television festival in Austin, Texas. "I enjoyed that one just because it feels so far-fetched and a bit ridiculous—because Miguel is Jack's best friend!"
But have any fan theories actually been right? Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment, remained evasive, saying, "They're pretty entertaining, but none of them have gotten close to what it is."
The show's executive producer Ken Olin was even less help. "I didn't even know Jack died!" he joked. But Olin loves fans' enthusiasm, he said. "They may be onto something—probably not, but then when it happens, hopefully just, poof! It'll blow them away. The truth is, [Jack's fate] was one of those things that got away from us. It's one of the many emotional layers in the story…. it's become this thing that we obviously need to address at some point, and we will."
