Returning to the show from the original cast are Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert(Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D.J.), and Lecy Goranson (Becky). Sarah Chalke – who played Becky on other seasons of the show – will also appear in an undefined role.
“The Conners’ joys and struggles are as relevant — and hilarious — today as they were then, and there’s really no one better to comment on our modern America than Roseanne,” ABC executive Channing Dungey said. The original Roseanne aired on ABC from 1988 to 1997
