City Councilman Kenyatta Johnson introduced a resolution that proposed honoring the group’s achievements in artistry and philanthropy by naming Broad Street from Christian to Carpenter, “Boyz II Men Boulevard.” The group used to perform at talent shows as students at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts which stands on that stretch of Broad Street
