This breaks and warms my heart all at the same time -- but according to 6ABC, 3 Philly animal shelters are teaming up to help save the fur babies on their facilities with a life-saving foster program.
Local animal shelters in Philadelphia say they've been way over capacity for weeks. That's why, for the first time, ACCT Philly, PAWS, and the Pennsylvania SPCA, are teaming up for a life-saving campaign called "Foster A Philly Pet."
Apparently, if 1% of Philly household open up their homes to the fostering program, the shelters would be empty... but that's also 500 new foster homes to help get those animals out of the shelters. So if you've been looking for a fur-baby, here's your time to shine!
